I spotted this decaying house whilst driving near Staffin, on the Isle of Skye. With the weathered tree I thought it made for a wonderful composition. As I framed the scene through my viewfinder, these starlings flew into the cenntre of the apex of the house. I was over joyed, this fleeting moment transforming the scene into something truly magical. This is one of my personal favourite photographs and the resulting print is stunning.
