Some things remain hidden. We think we can see the whole picture when there is a blind spot. Memories of others in the places I've seen. The air lingering with presence, not always necessarily human. Spectral encounters, a sense of the eerie and a roll of film double exposed with a fifteen year gap. I wanted a dream like quality to the series. It’s disjointed, confusing, existential; blurred memories and recollections that overlap. Sadness, happiness, at one point real terror. I feel the history of the landscape, the peoples and creatures that inhabited these places long ago. Their presence can be felt if you remain still for long enough. Thoughts turn to a sense of the eerie. More to follow; in the meantime I can highly recommend this Radio 3 programme 'Into the Eerie', enjoy!
